Hey, We’re Big Country

Our Story

Big Country Real Estate was born out of a shared dream between two brothers, their father, and a brother-in-law. What started as casual conversations on the couch about the rental game turned into an exciting family venture. With busy careers and growing families, we wanted a way to come together, have fun, and build something meaningful for our future.

A couple of years after those first conversations, we decided to take the leap. We rolled up our sleeves, started picking up properties, and handled much of the work ourselves. As things grew quickly, we brought in help to keep up with the momentum. In just one year, we reached 10 properties—each one a step closer to building something lasting.

Now, our mission is simple: to own quality housing that stands the test of time and create opportunities for future generations. At the heart of it all, we’re driven by a shared vision—to buy land where our kids (and Big Josh’s already big crew!) can roam and explore, carrying on the legacy we’re building together.
